Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Programs

Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Programs

You can’t just tell somebody to just stop doing drugs. That’s not a legitimate drug treatment option. Like it or not, agree with it or not, drug addiction is a disease. Drug addicts are not people with no self control, they’re people with a very real, very deadly disease. And it’s our job to help them recover. The vast majority of referrals to KCCC programming come through the criminal justice system.

All of our substance abuse treatment programs are recognized and certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse.

As a not-for-profit organization, Kansas City Community Center focuses on the people we treat, not shareholders, not financial statements and not our own profits. Instead, we judge our success on our ability to maintain drug rehabilitation programs that work.

Here’s a list of the programs we offer:

"KCCC is dedicated to ensuring the rights of all clients in all aspects of its programs. This includes confidentiality. Federal laws regulate what information we can and cannot release about a client. If you contact any of our program locations, please be aware that we cannot release or share information about a specific client to anyone without a release of information signed by the client. Staff answering the phone will not have that information immediately available. Staff will assist you to the extent that they can, but they will not be able to tell you whether a client is in a program or not. We encourage family members and other support providers in the client's life to request that the client sign an information release form. This helps ensure the client will maintain positive community support upon their release from a KCCC program."

All individuals seeking admission into treatment are required to undergo a complete screening and substance abuse assessment. The results of the assessment process dictates the level of care and services needed and serves as the basis for developing the individual's treatment plan.

Fees for services are on based on a sliding income scale. Fees for indigenous individuals who are residents of the state of Missouri are underwritten by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse.
